Oxford-based multimedia artist Rawz guides you off the beaten track with a collection of spoken word poetry, presenting a range of forgotten narratives at the heart of the city he grew up in.
Forgotten Stories Of Oxford is a free walking tour you can do with just a map and your smartphone. Visit hidden locations and hear the remarkable stories of people you’ve never heard of, for a different picture of the city.
Live tours
Two opportunities only: join Rawz for a live tour! He’ll take you to three locations on the map for live performances of the poems, and tell you more about the stories behind the poetry. Then you’ll be free to make your own way through the city, discovering more stories as you go. Meet in the Upper Gallery at the Old Fire Station, and wear your walking shoes.
